Can I sell my car with Outstanding Finance?
Yes. We can settle any outstanding PCP / HP finance directly with your finance company.
All you need to do is provide us with an up to date settlement figure. At the point when you drop your car off or we collect it, we will settle the finance and pay you the remaining balance.
What if I am in Negative equity?
We can still help! If the settlement figure is greater than the value of your vehicle, we can take your car and payment remaining balance. We would then settle the finance in full directly with your finance company to end your agreement.
How do I get a valuation?
For a free instant valuation, simply enter your registration number and the mileage on our website. You'll be given a valuation quotation straight away on your screen. No long forms or multiple boxes in sight.
Is the price quoted guaranteed?
There are many factors that determine a vehicles true value. To provide a valuation we work on assumptions to make the quotation process simple for our customers. We don't expect you to be an expert or disclose every detail about your car -- this is our job. The price you see initially is a just quotation and subject to an appraisal.
How do I get a guaranteed valuation?
Once you have received a valuation quotation the next step is for us to appraise your vehicle in order to guarantee a price. There are a few ways in which we can do this: The preferred method is for you to bring the vehicle to our office in Northampton or we can visit you at your home or place of work. Another option is via Email or WhatsApp. With accurate photos or videos we can is some cases guarantee a price without seeing the vehicle - these valuations are still subject to a physical inspection.
Can my vehicle be worth more than the price quoted?
In some cases, yes. For example if your car is a one owner vehicle, with a full main dealer service history, 2 keys and has no damage. Or if it's a top spec with loads of factory options. These kinds of vehicles are more desirable so we could revise or offer at the appraisal stage.
How long do I have to decide if I want to accept your offer?
You have 4 days to decide if you'd like to accept our guaranteed offer. After this time we may need to re value your vehicle.
What happens when I accept your offer?
If you accept our offer while you are with us then you can literally hand the car over there and you'll receive a secure instant straight into your bank account.
If you go away and then decide to accept, we can arrange to collect your vehicle, or you can drop it off to us. Either way we you'll get paid straight away; we ensure you have cleared funds in your account before you part with your car. There are NO FEES what-so-ever for any of these transactions.
Is the price Negotiable?
In some cases, yes. Prices can fluctuate based on supply and demand, desirability and specification. We use live market data that considers all these factors giving an accurate price at the time of the valuation. There are however instances where certain vehicles can be difficult to value. This is where our knowledge of the industry comes in.
We can manually review and underwrite any valuation and in some cases may be able to offer more money. We are happy to speak with you directly about any adjustments. Remember our buying service is designed to be quick and easy so we already try and eliminate this for you. It is important to us that we always provide a fair buying service for our customers.

Yes, we will buy company owned vehicles. We'll also bulk buy fleet cars and vans sometimes with the option to settle lease agreements early.

Does my car require a MOT?
No, you don't need to have a valid MOT for us to buy your car. It is worth noting that vehicles with no MOT can be worth significantly less so having an MOT is always the preferred option. You can check your vehicles MOT status directly on the DVLA website. MOT Link
Where are you based?
We are centrally based in Northampton, Northamptonshire. We offer a drop off service here and also offer nationwide collection where applicable.
How quickly can I get paid?
We'll pay you instantly via our banking app so you receive funds immediately. The quicker you can make the car available the quicker you get paid. Payments are made after the sale price has been agreed and accepted and at the time your vehicle is handed over.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Your vehicle V5 logbook / registration certificate.
- Any service history / service booklets you have with the car.
- On the day of sale you will need to bring with you:
- Photo ID. E.g. Driving licence or passport
- All keys including the spare.
- Proof of address. E.g. Driving licence, utility bill or bank statement.
Do I need to inform the DVLA when selling my car to Dave?
No, we will complete all of the necessary paperwork on your behalf. We can usually do this
online and will send you email confirmation at the same time.
What happens to the vehicle TAX?
When we complete the DVLA paperwork telling them you are no longer the owner, any tax refund will be sent directly to the keeper shown on the V5 logbook. This usually takes a few weeks and comes in the form of a cheque.
What if my car is SORN or has No Insurance?
No problem. Depending on location we can arrange to collect the vehicle from you.
Can I speak with someone if I'm unsure of anything?
Absolutely yes, we are more than happy to help guide you through any of the steps along the way. We have a customer focused business and make it a priority to be available when needed. There are no switch boards, you call the number and we'll pick it up.

Are there any fees?
No, none what so ever !! All of our services are 100% free of charge. There are no charges for valuations, appraisals or money transfers or anything else.
What effects the value of my car?
Make & model
Certain models are more desirable and retain their value better than others. If you have a car that is in demand, then it could be worth more to us.
Number of previous owners
Cars with fewer previous owners are generally worth more due to many owners being a potential indication of unsolved problems with the vehicle.
The condition of your car
If there is any damage to the car, the car's value will be lower than a car with no imperfections. This can include scratches, dents, stone chips and other wear & tear.
Manufacturer's warranty
Selling a car with a manufacturer's warranty provides reassurance to the buyer and can increase the value of the car.
Mileage
A car with lower mileage will retain more of its value than a car with above-average mileage.
Optional extras
Some extras such as heated seats and upgraded alloys could improve the desirability and value of your car.
Service history
A full-service history shows that the car has been well-maintained and means that it will be worth more than a car with service history gaps.
